The people behind anna.

Elīna spent fifteen years building products that make complicated things feel effortless, from Latvia's first digital outdoor advertising network to e-commerce platforms for some of Europe's largest retailers. She came up through marketing, so data is the language she thinks in. She studied in Glasgow and at Cambridge. She started anna app in 2025, convinced that the data to help women through perimenopause already existed and simply wasn't being used. She knows from her own experience what it is to live with symptoms driven by hormonal fluctuations, so this was never an abstract problem to her. She's anna app's CEO and co-founder.

Zanda is anna app's co-founder and Chief Product Officer. She owns the product and everything under it: engineering, data science, privacy and security. She came up through fintech and e-commerce, worlds where protecting people's data is the rule above every other rule, and she holds anna app to that same standard. She's also a dedicated biohacker who treats her own health as something to understand and improve, which is exactly the mindset anna app is built on.

Mārtiņš spent a decade as a sound engineer at Dailes Theatre, one of Latvia's leading stages, where a show only works if nothing fails in front of a live audience. He brought that same instinct for reliability to software. At anna app he helps build the backend and keeps it stable and secure, so the app quietly does its job every day.

Līga is actively involved in the UX and service design community and scene in the Baltics, as founder and curator of the UX Riga conference, co-organiser of the UI/UX Riga meet-up, organiser of Global Service Jam Riga, mentor and Tech-track Lead in the Riga Tech Girls mentorship programme, and teaching at Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences. Her background also includes postgraduate studies in human-computer interaction.

She advises anna app on user experience as its Founding Product Experience Advisor. And she brings another perspective to the team: Līga is in the age group anna app is built for. She isn't only designing for the user, she understands this stage of life from the inside.

Jānis is a mathematician with a PhD in topological data analysis, the maths of finding patterns in complex data. He grew up in Latvia, the United States, and Canada, and now works as a researcher at the University of Latvia. As an advisor to anna app, he shapes how our data is structured today so it can support smarter guidance tomorrow.
