anna app is health intelligence for perimenopause, launching Q3 2026, UK first, then across Europe, on iOS. We are happy to talk to journalists, podcasters, and writers covering women's health, health technology, or the menopause economy. This page has everything you need to write about anna without having to ask.
At a glance
What anna is
anna reads the data your watch and phone already collect – sleep, recovery, heart-rate variability, cycle, activity – runs it through a clinical translation engine with 1,000+ doctor-reviewed rules, and gives you one evidence-backed thing to focus on each morning. Every tip links to the published research source behind it. anna also generates a GP report you can take to your doctor's appointment.
What anna is not
anna is not a symptom diary or daily log. It is not a telehealth or HRT prescribing service. It is not a medical device, does not diagnose or treat, and is not a replacement for your GP.
Why now
Women in perimenopause are data-rich and insight-poor. Most of them are already wearing a watch that records sleep, HRV, and recovery, and carrying a phone that knows their cycle. None of that data is being translated into one clear answer to "what should I do today." anna does that translation, and shows the working.
Founders

Elīna Pīka-Lepere
co-founder
Elīna is the co-founder of anna app and the primary press spokesperson. Background: 15 years at JCDecaux Latvia in outdoor advertising, The Customization Group in enterprise retail across Aldi and Lidl in Europe, university teaching, and AI consulting. Her UK connection is through her undergraduate degree at the University of Glasgow and executive education at Cambridge. She left her last role in July 2025 to build anna full-time.
LinkedIn →Zanda Freimane Dulbe
co-founder, product lead
Zanda is the co-founder of anna app and leads product and technology. She is 32, a generation younger than anna's users, and that is the point: she is building the toolkit she intends to arrive with. A biohacker long before anna existed, she reads sleep research for fun, walks a minimum of 10,000 steps a day, and once took a full fitness trainer course purely to make her own workouts better. When Elīna, a former colleague, called to get a technical opinion on an idea, it took one coffee for the consult to turn into a co-founder. Zanda builds anna the way she runs her own health: find the data, read it honestly, fix one thing at a time.

“Most women have a wearable on their wrist, an app on their phone, a watch tracking their sleep, and not one of those things is telling them what to do about the brain fog at 3pm or the wake-up at 3am. anna does that translation.”
“The category got loud before it got useful. Logging your symptoms in another app does not change anything. Reading the data your body is already producing, and giving you one thing to do with it, that changes something.”
“We are careful not to call this AI. AI has become a noise word. anna does pattern recognition over wearable data and applies 1,000-plus rules a clinician has reviewed. That is the honest description.”
“I am 32. Perimenopause is not my today, but it is my inevitable. I want to walk into it knowing exactly what is coming, with the tools already in my hand. anna is the toolkit I am building for my own future. That it helps the women getting there before me, that is the gold.”
“I love fixing things. My sleep, my training, my energy, I have always treated my body as a system you can read and improve. anna is that same habit, built for the one life stage where women are told the system cannot be read. It can. The data is already on their wrists.”
“In our research we heard from women who were not asking for optimisation. They were struggling to get through an ordinary day. That was devastating to hear, and it set our bar: not another pretty tracker, but one thing you can actually do today.”
