1. Who we are

anna app is operated by SIA anna app, a private limited company registered in the Republic of Latvia.

"anna", "we", "us", or "our" mean SIA anna app. "You" or "user" means you, the person using anna.

2. Definitions

  • App. The anna mobile application for iOS.
  • Services. All features, content, and functionality provided through the App.
  • Subscription. Paid access to anna's features.
  • Content. All text, images, data, algorithms, and materials we provide.
  • User content. Anything you upload, which remains private to you.
  • Account. Your personal anna account.

3. Eligibility and age

3.1 Minimum age

You must be at least 18 years old to use anna. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If we learn an account is held by someone under 18, we delete it immediately.

3.2 Age verification

When you create an account, you must provide your accurate date of birth. By creating an account, you confirm that you're at least 18 years old.

3.3 Reporting

If you become aware of anyone under 18 using anna, please write to elina@annahealth.app.

4. Your account

4.1 Creating an account

To use anna, you create an account with your name, email address, date of birth, and password. You may also sign up using Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google.

4.2 Account security

You're responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. Don't share your credentials. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.

4.3 Accurate information

Provide accurate information when creating your account and keep it up to date.

4.4 One account per person

You may only create one account for yourself. You may not create accounts using false information, create accounts on behalf of others (unless legally authorised), or share your account.

5. What anna does and does not do

5.1 What anna does

anna is a lifestyle and self-awareness tool that:

  • Reads the patterns in your wearable data via Apple HealthKit
  • Provides general educational information about perimenopause and menopause
  • Offers lifestyle tips grounded in clinical research
  • Helps you organise your health context
  • Generates insights to help you have better conversations with your doctor

5.2 What anna does not do

anna does not and cannot:

  • Diagnose medical conditions
  • Prescribe treatments or medications
  • Replace your doctor or healthcare provider
  • Provide personalised medical advice
  • Guarantee any health outcomes
  • Prevent, cure, or treat any disease
  • Function as a medical device
  • Serve as contraception or birth control

5.3 Algorithm and AI limitations

anna's daily tips are generated from a clinical translation engine built on more than 800 doctor-reviewed rules. We use Anthropic AI to phrase the tip in clear language. The medical reasoning is rules-based, not AI-generated.

  • Tips are general lifestyle suggestions, not medical advice
  • Predictions and insights may not be accurate for your specific situation
  • You use all features at your own risk

5.4 Your responsibility

You're solely responsible for decisions you make based on information from anna, for consulting healthcare professionals for medical decisions, and for verifying information before acting on it.

6. Subscriptions, pricing, and billing

6.1 Plans and pricing

Prices are displayed in the app before purchase and may vary by location. All prices include applicable taxes.

6.2 Payment

All payments are processed through the Apple App Store. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your payment method, agree to Apple's App Store terms, and accept that we don't store your payment information.

6.3 Auto-renewal

All subscriptions automatically renew unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of your current subscription period. If you don't cancel, you will be charged for the next period at the then-current price.

6.4 Price changes

We may change subscription prices. If we increase prices, we notify you at least 30 days before the change. The new price applies to your next renewal. You can cancel before the price change takes effect.

6.5 Payment issues

If we cannot process your payment, we may suspend your access to premium features and retry charging your payment method. You remain responsible for charges.

7. Free trial

We may offer a 14-day free trial to new users.

  • One trial per user
  • Requires a valid payment method
  • Automatically converts to a paid subscription unless you cancel

To avoid being charged, you must cancel at least 24 hours before your trial ends.

8. Cancellation, refunds, and withdrawal

8.1 How to cancel

To cancel your subscription:

  1. Open your Apple App Store account
  2. Tap Subscriptions
  3. Find anna and tap Cancel Subscription

Or contact us at elina@annahealth.app at least 24 hours before renewal.

8.2 Effect of cancellation

  • You keep access to premium features until the end of your paid period
  • No refund for the unused portion (subject to your statutory rights below)
  • Your account remains active with free features after expiration
  • You can resubscribe at any time

8.3 EU and UK 14-day withdrawal right

If you're in the EU or UK, you have a right to withdraw from the subscription within 14 days of purchase under EU Directive 2011/83/EU and the UK Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

Important. When you subscribe to anna, we ask you to expressly consent that we begin providing the service immediately, and to acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once the service has begun. If you don't give this consent, we cannot start your subscription.

If you give the consent and decide to withdraw within 14 days, you may be charged for the portion of service used.

8.4 No general refund policy

Outside the statutory rights above, we don't offer refunds, except:

  • As required by applicable law
  • At our discretion in exceptional circumstances
  • If a payment error occurs on our side

8.5 Refund requests

For App Store purchases, refund requests go through Apple. For other matters, write to elina@annahealth.app with details.

9. Founding member pricing

Members 1 to 520 of our pre-launch waitlist locked in a 50% lifetime discount.

If you were one of the founding 520 (you joined before 16 June 2026 and signed up under our original "first 500 lock in 50% off for life" offer), your discount applies for as long as you stay subscribed to anna, even if our standard pricing changes. The discount is tied to your account email.

If you sign up after 16 June 2026, the standard pricing in section 6 applies.

10. Your responsibilities

10.1 Account use

You agree to provide accurate information, keep your account secure, use anna only for personal non-commercial purposes, comply with applicable laws, and tell us about security breaches.

10.2 Data accuracy

You're responsible for entering accurate health data and updating information when it changes. Inaccurate data leads to inaccurate guidance.

10.3 Device security

Keep your device secure with PIN, Face ID, or Touch ID. Install security updates.

11. Prohibited uses

You may not:

Account misuse.

  • Share your account
  • Create multiple accounts or accounts on behalf of others
  • Use someone else's account
  • Provide false information
  • Impersonate anyone

Technical misuse.

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Copy, modify, or create derivative works
  • Bypass security measures
  • Introduce viruses or malicious code
  • Scrape or mine data
  • Use bots or automated tools

Commercial misuse.

  • Resell or redistribute anna
  • Use anna for commercial purposes
  • Rent or lease the App

Prohibited locations.

  • Use anna from countries subject to UK, EU, or US sanctions

If you violate these terms, we may suspend or terminate your account, delete your data, and take legal action.

12. Your content

12.1 Your health data

You own your health data. By using anna, you grant us a limited licence to store and process it to provide the services to you, improve our algorithm in anonymised form, and conduct research only if you explicitly opt in.

12.2 Documents you upload

Anything you upload to anna remains yours. It's private to you, never shared without your consent, and stored securely. By uploading documents, you confirm you have the right to upload them.

12.3 Feedback

If you give us feedback or ideas, we may use them freely without obligation to you.

13. Intellectual property

13.1 Our ownership

We (or our licensors) own all intellectual property rights in anna, including the algorithm, content, branding, and user interface.

13.2 Your licence

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to download and use anna on devices you own, and to access the services for personal use.

You may not sell or distribute anna, modify or create derivative works, remove copyright notices, or use our trade marks without permission.

14. Third-party services

anna relies on third-party services including Apple HealthKit, Supabase, Anthropic, and the Apple App Store. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their availability, performance, privacy practices, or any loss caused by them. Your use of these services is subject to their terms and privacy policies.

If you enable Apple HealthKit, you control what data is shared, you can revoke access at any time, Apple's HealthKit terms apply, and we don't share HealthKit data with advertisers.

15. Apple App Store terms

These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App, its content, maintenance, support, warranties, claims, intellectual property issues, or your use of the App.

Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these terms and may enforce them. Contact us (not Apple) for support requests and complaints.

Your licence to use anna is non-transferable, non-exclusive, for use on Apple devices you own or control, and subject to Apple's Usage Rules.

16. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and your privacy rights. By using anna, you agree to our Privacy Policy.

17. Warranties and disclaimers

17.1 As is

To the maximum extent permitted by law, anna is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We disclaim all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, that the App will be error-free, that the App will be uninterrupted, and that the App is virus-free.

17.2 No accuracy guarantee

We don't warrant the accuracy of tips, insights, or predictions, the reliability of HealthKit data sync, the performance of AI features, or that the App will meet your expectations.

17.3 Medical disclaimer

anna is not medical advice and cannot guarantee health outcomes. Use of anna is at your own risk.

17.4 Statutory rights preserved

Your statutory consumer rights under UK and EU law are not affected by these disclaimers. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, and in those jurisdictions our disclaimers apply only to the maximum extent permitted by law.

18. Limitation of liability

18.1 No consequential damages

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, lost profits, loss of data, loss of goodwill, business interruption, or any other intangible losses.

18.2 Cap on liability

Our total liability for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of anna is limited to the greater of:

  • €100, or
  • The amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to liability

18.3 Exceptions

The limitations above do not apply to:

  • Death or personal injury caused by our negligence
  • Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
  • Gross negligence or wilful misconduct
  • Any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (including UK and EU consumer law)

18.4 Health decisions

We're not liable for health decisions you make based on anna, consequences of not seeking medical care, or reliance on tips, insights, or predictions.

19. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages, losses, and reasonable legal fees arising from:

  • Your misuse of anna
  • Your violation of these Terms or applicable laws
  • Content you upload that violates third-party rights
  • Inaccurate information you provide

This obligation does not extend to claims arising from anna's own algorithmic or AI outputs, or from our breach of our own obligations.

20. Dispute resolution

20.1 Informal first

Before any legal claim, contact us at elina@annahealth.app to try to resolve the issue informally.

20.2 EU and UK users

If informal resolution fails, disputes will be resolved in the courts of your country of residence. EU users may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

EU and UK users are not required to waive any class action rights where such waivers are prohibited by law.

20.3 US users

If you're in the US, disputes will be resolved through binding individual arbitration under the American Arbitration Association's Consumer Arbitration Rules. You may opt out of arbitration within 30 days of accepting these Terms by emailing elina@annahealth.app. Small claims court remains available either way.

20.4 Your local rights

Nothing in these Terms affects your rights under local consumer protection laws.

21. Governing law

For EU and UK users, the laws of your country of residence apply. EU consumer protection laws apply where mandatory.

For US users who have not opted out of arbitration, the Federal Arbitration Act and Delaware law apply.

For users elsewhere, Latvian law applies.

You confirm you're not located in a country subject to UK, EU, or US sanctions and aren't on any prohibited parties list.

22. Changes to these terms

We may modify these Terms. For material changes, we notify you by email, in-app notification, or prominent website notice at least 30 days before changes take effect.

By continuing to use anna after changes take effect, you accept the new Terms. If you don't agree, you must stop using anna, cancel your subscription, and delete your account.

Changes apply prospectively, not retroactively.

23. Termination

23.1 Your right to terminate

You can terminate at any time by cancelling your subscription, deleting your account in Settings, or emailing elina@annahealth.app. Your subscription ends with access until the paid period expires, and your account is deleted within 30 days.

23.2 Our right to terminate

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in prohibited activities, provide false information, or if required by law. In most cases we will warn you first.

23.3 Effect of termination

Your licence ends immediately. You must stop using anna. Unpaid fees remain due. Sections on intellectual property, warranties, liability, indemnification, dispute resolution, and governing law survive termination.

24. General provisions

  • Entire agreement. These Terms and our Privacy Policy form the entire agreement.
  • No waiver. Failure to enforce a right does not waive it.
  • Severability. If a provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
  • Assignment. You may not assign these Terms. We may assign to affiliates, acquirers, or successors.
  • Force majeure. We're not liable for delays beyond our reasonable control.
  • Electronic communications. You consent to receive communications electronically.
  • Notices. To us: elina@annahealth.app or SIA anna app, Krišjāņa Barona iela 30A, Riga, Latvia. To you: your registered email or in-app notification.
  • Language. These Terms are in English. Translations are for convenience only. The English version controls.
